JobPath – Employment Activation Programme

JobPath Initiative

JobPath is an approach to employment activation which caters mainly for people who are, over 12 months unemployed, to assist them to secure and sustain full-time paid employment or self-employment.

Job Path Services for Jobseekers

Participants on JobPath will receive individual support from CMD Group to help them address barriers to employment and to assist them in finding jobs.

JobPath Services for Employers

As part of our JobPath project, CMD Group provides a service which is designed to assist any business /employer in recruiting relevant, experienced employee’s for their business at zero cost from us.

We do this by meeting with employers that have current or future vacancies, we agree Job Specs, employer criteria for the position on offer and then match this criteria to the clients on our JobPath database.

This recruitment process is done at zero cost to you the employer, because the programme is run on a “Payments by Results” model. This simply means that we receive our fees from the Dept. Of Social Protection only when we assist a client into sustainable employment. This payment is then made at 13 week intervals, so it is in our interest that we match the client with the right employer so that the client moves into a position that they are suited to, but more importantly that you the employer are matched with a suitable, experienced employee for the long term as required.

*Please note that CMD Group is not responsible for paying the employees. Once a company makes an offer for a job to that candidate, they then become employees of said company.

Furthermore, all our clients register for the governments Job Plus Employer Incentive Grant which allows you, the employer, claim up to €10,000.00 against any new employee.

In addition, in-work support for jobseekers is provided, especially during the critical first few weeks, to ensure that people have the best chance of making the transition from unemployment to employment.

How can CMD Group Help Employers?

Employers if you are thinking of hiring, contact us to see if we can fill your position for you – free of charge – and also provide you with information that will help you to receive grants for that employment.

We will explore our database of candidates which are suitable for your position, submit their CV to you and prepare them for interview – all at no cost to your company.

Employees are your most valuable resource and it is important to make the right choice first time. Rely on our expertise to allow you to do this.
